From nostalgic retros to new collaborations, here are my top 3 sneakers that will be or already have been released in the year 2019
3. Air Jordan 11 “Bred”
It doesn’t get any better than this. Just like how the “Concord” Air Jordan 11 returned in original form in 2018, the “Bred” Air Jordan 11 will arrive in 2019 with the high-cut patent leather and possibly 45 on the heels. Total geek out mode!
2. Air Jordan 4 “Bred”
Much like the “Black Infrared” Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand will be bringing back the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” with Nike Air as a follow up to the “Black Cement” Air Jordan 3 in 2018. This is one of my All time favorites from “His Airness”.
1. Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Cactus Jack”
Following on the success of his Air Force 1 and Air Jordan IV silhouettes, Travis Scott took on the iconic Air Jordan 1, re-imagining the shoe like never before. Electing a brown, white and black colorway, the Scott-edition Jordans feature the addition of a velcro stash pocket, plus the shoe’s most eye-catching detail – an inverted Swoosh. Like his previous Nike collaborations, Cactus Jack branding is found debossed on the heel of the shoe. My favorite shoe to release in 2019 and I believe it will be a hard sneaker to top.
